Been wondering that myself. I think I have terrible insulation in my place (just moved in last March, missed most of winter). I'm usually about 71 or so but have been cranking it so far. Gonna get pummeled on the bill.

I keep it at 71 as well though had it up to 73 one day last week. Always seems to happen that a couple times a year require higher temps inside than normal. I think high winds or some other factor besides normal temperature effects how well heat is trapped in your house.

The clock is an Advance Model 3139. None of the pictures I've found on the Internet show what this one looks like, so here's my own photograph:

As you can see, it has a power cord, which I do not use. While the clock could run off of the cord, it also works using only the battery. However, doing this means the LCD display is not lit, which is certainly the reason for the battery's longevity.

It runs on a Rayovac Maximum Plus alkaline battery. Here is a picture showing the expiration date:

Ahh... was just curious if the problem was that the wireless in the AT&T modem-router combo didn't have enough "oomph" to drive the ethernet and wifi at 1G speeds.
The only thing I use the ISP wifi for is guest access. I don't care if it gets great speed or not.

Not sure what to make of this. From Kevin Spacey's view, if he was shit-faced drunk, he might not remember anything. If he knows that he could get shit-faced drunk that in the '80s but doesn't remember, that's all he ought to confess to.
