Sooo... been waiting on a shipment of records to get here. I was much more excited about these than usual. Generally I'm not like a kid waiting for xmas and when they get here, they get here. This order had some badass shit though, and I've been texting the female every day from work asking if they had come yet. Today, they arrived. I raced home, only stopping to get beer. I grab the package, and the first thing I see is this USPS sticker that says "RECEIVED IN DAMAGED CONDITION". Then I realize that it had been opened already. I look inside, and only 1 out of 8 records is in there.

The store is in England, so I'm not sure how this gets resolved and they are gone for the night. I've ordered a ton from them, everything has always been fine and they have really good customer service so I'm assuming they won't try to fuck me over.

If there's any silver lining, it's that the 1 record I did get is the 1 I really wanted, and it's in good condition.

It's still one of the worst days of my life.

We're a one car family right now and just about every day my fiance drives me to work. There are times though that she'll have business meetings or conferences or whatever and she can't do that. Also, at those times, she doesn't have enough time to pick up my stepdaughter. Those few times I rent a car at a place by our house (you add up the few times I have had to do that over the course of a year and it's still cheaper than my getting a car).

Only today the rental car company, that I've used at least 3 times in the last 6 months, told me that my debit card (which actually does have a line of credit too) isn't enough to get the car and that since I don't carry insurance on me they won't rent a car to me. They were nice enough to drive me home and I'm lucky that I can walk over this afternoon to pick up the little one (it's only a bit over a mile). I kept telling them that I've already rented a car three times with them doing the same damn thing but they really couldn't have cared less.

So now I'm trapped at home and might lose day's pay for this bullshit. I fucking hate suburban American life. I hate how things are done in this country now.

A lady at a previous house was bit by a brown recluse. It turned into a giant boil. It was so frickin gross, but the skin would not heal in a 3" area.

She had a skin graft and the 1st didn't even take. The 2nd graft did. Nasty.

Aerosmith Looking For New Singer To Replace Steven Tyler

Over the past few days, rumors have been rampant that frontman Steven Tyler has left Aerosmith to pursue a solo career. The only problem was, no one associated with the band seemed to be willing to confirm those rumors.

But late Monday, there's news that not only is Tyler out of the band he helmed for nearly 40 years, but Aerosmith plan on searching for a new singer to replace him.

That's according to guitarist Joe Perry, who took to his Twitter account on Monday evening to let fans know that "Aerosmith is definitely NOT breaking up ... one of the members is doing his own thing and said so in the press."

That last line was in reference to a recent interview Tyler gave to British magazine Classic Rock, in which he said he had canceled all remaining Aerosmith dates, and was instead focused on — as he put it —"working on the brand of myself: Brand Tyler."

And according to another Perry tweet, the band is looking for a frontman to replace Tyler, with plans of hitting the road once again.

"Aerosmith is positively looking for a new singer to work with. You just can't take 40 years of experience and throw it in the bin," he wrote. "[The] band is playing hotter than ever and our songs need to be played live. Don't despair: Aerosmith is not splitting up. Promise that's the last you'll hear from me on the subject 'till we gear up again."

At press time, a spokesperson for the band had not responded to MTV News' requests for comment on the matter.
