My wife is in school these days so I'm turning into the big chef around the house, and it turns out I'm really getting into it. I made my own brown sauce by sautéeing onions and ginger, and adding some white wine, soy sauce, chili powder, and Chinese 5-spice powder. I tossed in the tofu with some cilantro last and then poured it all over the broccoli and rice. If I can eat like this all the time, I'm never going back to eating meat. For tomorrow: bulgur wheat salad with chickpeas, sundried tomatoes, mushrooms, basil, and Parmesan cheese.
