Anyways, I had two chicken salad sandwiches. After eating them, I thought, "Damn, that was tasty." So I went and looked at the package (It's GFS Chicken Salad), pondering another. I was stopped by the fact it contains 23g of fat per serving. I began to worry whether I would die today.

For anyone...

My mushrooms and onions...

Heat your frying pan, add some oil, add 1 diced or sliced onion. Salt, pepper and garlic powder it. Don't fry the shit out of them, just fry them enough so they start sweating and become transluscent...about 10-15 minutes. Add oil here and there.

Raise the heat a lil bit, add some oil, when it they start frying a lot, add the mushrooms and the pan will cool down some. Salt, pepper, garlic. Reduce the heat a lil bit.

You want them to be frying but not to where they get burned at all. I add oil 3 or 4 times as the mushroom absorb the oil. Then the mushrooms start to give off their juice. So you can just let them cook in their own juices.

About a half hour later the oil starts to get really clear, thats when you know they are getting done. They really cook down. At the very end cut in a lil butter. It creams them up and adds flavor.

Start with a lot cuz they really cook down. I usually use 2 onions and a pound and a half of shrooms.

There is a red dye called "carmine" which actually comes from ground beetles. You'll see it referred to on the label by the names Carmine, Crimson Lake, Cochineal, or Natural Red 4.
