Exactly. It's just so obvious that any pregnancy joke about Palin is about the older one.

The loony right (no I don't think you're there Tahoe) thinks this is all part of the leftist propaganda machine because even a bad joke with bad press still brings her public reputation down. Why did they (the left) do this? Because they are scared of her come 2012 lol.

After the last 6 months, I find Mittens to be a very strange basket to put all your eggs in. He's basically been totally invisible to the general public.

EDIT: I'd like to say that this means we don't have to hear about Sarah Palin anymore, or that I don't have to put up with otherwise intelligent people treating her as a serious politician, but unfortunately I know better.

I don't get this. You are a fighter, but not when you are fighting "complaints without merit" I guess?

ANCHORAGE, Alaska (CNN) -- Sarah Palin's not a quitter, she wants the public to know.
"I am not a quitter. I am a fighter," Palin told CNN on Monday while on a family fishing trip, on the heels of her Friday bombshell announcement that she was resigning as Alaska's governor.
Palin did her interview standing on the shores of Dillingham, Alaska, wearing waders. She granted 10-minute interviews to CNN and three other news networks Monday.
She resigned because of the tremendous pressure, time and financial burden of a litany of ethics complaints in the past several months, she said. The complaints were without merit and took away from the job she wanted to do for Alaskans, Palin said.

Wilfredo Ledezma
07-07-2009, 01:53 PM
The ethics complaints, to me, are just proof of how insecure those around her handle their own insecurities. Especially since all of them were baseless and frivolous.

What infuriated liberals about Palin was that she had qualities that they could never live up to or possess.

Palin was honest, upright, and filled with integrity, and the fact that Obama has already backfired on many of his major campaign promises and has quadrupled the national deficit in only 6 months shows who was and wasn't putting on a 'facade' last fall.

My name is Andrea Fay Friedman. I was born with Down syndrome. I played the role of Ellen on the "Extra Large Medium" episode of Family Guy that was broadcast on Valentine's day. Although they gave me red hair on the show, I am really a blonde. I also wore a red wig for my role in " Smudge" but I was a blonde in "Life Goes On". I guess former Governor Palin does not have a sense of humor. I thought the line "I am the daughter of the former governor of Alaska" was very funny. I think the word is "sarcasm".

In my family we think laughing is good. My parents raised me to have a sense of humor and to live a normal life. My mother did not carry me around under her arm like a loaf of French bread the way former Governor Palin carries her son Trig around looking for sympathy and votes.

Apparently a popular sentiment. Palin only got 7% in a straw poll at CPAC (http://content.usatoday.com/communities/onpolitics/post/2010/02/ron-paul-wins-cpac-presidential-straw-poll/1)--half of what she got a year ago. You're an idiot. There have been plenty of TV hosts, articles, etc showing republican representatives voting against the stimulus package saying it would "create no jobs" only to turn around and pose at ribbon cutting ceremonies with giant checks in their hands. In addition they request funding saying it is needed to create or save valuable jobs in their districts. This is all documented.

How you manage to let facts completely escape you is beyond me. They aren't voting no because they disagree. They are voting no because they are toeing the party line.

It's the same story in the heath care debate. Did you even watch when Obama went to the GOP retreat? He called them out right to their faces and told them how they are two faced. It was all there on camera. They got exposed so bad they are coming up with all these rules for the health care meeting coming up so they can't be exposed again.

Why do you have such an allergy to facts? It's bad enough that people are so uninformed in this country, but I think ignoring the facts is even worse. I guess that is what you get listening to Rush and Fox News. You think you are informed because hey, you're watching a 'news' show right? Nope, you just buy into their bullshit and pass it on as fact.

The biggest problem is that people in this country are so ignorant they don't even see all these documented cases of GOP hyppocracy.

There are plenty of Admin peeps around to police me. If you need to block me, go for it.

BTW...You were the poster that started making it personal (I think thats correct). You were the poster that called me an idiot, so get off your fucking high horse.

You mean this post?:

I called you an idiot, then I proceeded to tell you why. I never said you can't call me names. I called you out for providing absolutely nothing to back up your opinion. But just go ahead with your one liners without proof.

Either way, fuck off with all your bullshit.

If demanding some sort of proof is bullshit then I'm happy to be labeled a bull shit artist if that makes you feel any better.

I'd much rather be on my high horse and be correct than eating up Rush's and Fox News' manure and have no clue you're rolling around in shit.

If your dumbass finds the time, go back and read a couple of places where I ripped Repubs on the stimulus package. iirc, their pork was 40% of the bill.

The bill was going through anyways, so they might as well get their pork too. Then again, they should have stood on principal and voted no.

You really have a unique way of making yourself look stupid...like every time you post.

ftr...I have not had foxnews or rush on in months (I'm pretty sure about that. Might only have been a month and half). And you know what, Obama is still a fucking idiot and so are you. My opinion of our gov't has very little to do with fox or Rush.

We've had a great deal of tax cuts for working people in the past 40 years. Part of the problem. That's what people want. Really. They've know about it for 30 years and keep asking for it. The old Reagan mentality of "now is more important than tomorrow". People know it's wrong, but hey, I got $50 and a road project out of it, so I'd vote for him again.

Maybe Chris will mute himself and this thread can back on the off-topic it was.

You said in a couple of places about the public wanting more was what put us in this position. At least I think thats what you said.

So now this frickin amateur in office wants to provide frickin Health Care for EVERYONE! WTF?

I don't remember your position on it, but these libs who hide behind the CBO's estimates have their head in the sand. This will do a very very little bit of good and the government will grow and tax payers will foot the bill and our deficit will grow.

Same shit, different douchefuck in office.

There is a difference between voting against something and then taking advantage of it after it passed anyway. I would expect them to do that. In fact I think they'd be stupid to not use the funds regardless of how they voted.

It's another thing to vote against it, say it's a complete waste of time and will create zero jobs, then turn around and say it's creating valuable jobs for their district. Either it works or it doesn't. They seem to think both are true. If they would just stand up there and admit they were dead wrong then the non GOP media wouldn't be ripping them. Instead they seem to think they can ride on both sides of the fences at once and bitch about the media calling them out on it.

Anyway, as Glenn said this isn't a LOL@Palin (although she likes to ride the fence on the retard usage issue), so I'm done derailing this to prove you are ignorant to facts.

Like I am hiding something? No. I was against the pharm. payout bill, I am against all of the proposals I've seen.

I do strongly support allowing the market to serve itself properly and allow the govt. to not only negotiate, but twist the arm of it's medical suppliers.

Hermy

I like the cross state a lot, or cross nation. Tort does little from every nonpartisan study I've seen. Fuck lawyers though, don't get me wrong, I don't like the punitive awards, just restitution. But I don't think that will keep costs down.

Seriously, you don't think his family stature had anything to do with that? His Dad was President of an oil company at the time, his grandfather was a former wall street executive and senator at the time, and his great grandfather was a former steel executive that did federal weapons contracting. I'm sure none of that had any influence on the grades he got.

These are the facts I found when googling "George W Bush grades"

Bush at Yale

SAT Verbal Score
566 (of 800)

SAT Math Score
640 (of 800)

Gore at Harvard

SAT Verbal Score
625 (of 800)

SAT Math Score
730 (of 800)

His overall score at Yale was a 77 out of 100 BTW, which is a C+ average.

Sarah Palin, former Alaska Governor and Republican vice presidential nominee in 2008, came to Detroit Sunday evening and predicted a "monster vote" for Trump in Michigan.

"If Trump wins, then America wins," she said during an interview with Fox News personality Bill O'Reilly that was taped at the Town Pump Tavern in Detroit. "They are hot, hot, hot for Trump in Michigan."

About a dozen supporters came to the bar for the stop
