1) You want to show everyone that your #1 guy is better than the UFC's drawcard, despite the fact everyone thinks UFC is real and wrestling is fake #Vinceisanidiot

2) You as booker doubt that Lesnar will stick with the company for the full year you signed him for so you put your #1 guy over him as soon as possible #Brock'saquitter

3) You realise this is the PG era and you need to end the show with the good guy winning the day so kids don't whine and bitch about hating the show and Mom and Dad pony up more money next month to see WTF is going on #whopaysforthemanymore?

4) It bucks the tried and true formula that your fans were expecting!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! SWERVE! Unfortunately it's a swerve just for the sake of it!

EVERYONE thought Brock would destroy Cena. That's how you build the story - the heel beats the living shit outta the face! It's worked for 60 years and always will!

Cena goes home for a month or 2 while Brock rules Raw like he used to back in the day... you have Brock vs Punk, Brock vs Daniel Bryan... it's all "legit"... Brock become the Champ, destorys all and sundry, he is The Man and no one can fucking beat him!

Then you have Cena come back... and he's back to save the day! You build towards the rematch at WrestleMania where obviously Cena wins!

It's a year long soul searching story for your #1 good guy... who lost faith in himself after losing to The Rock... got injured by Brock a month later... but then he made some appearances for Make A Wish Foundation, found some hope and courage in the kids he was there to meet and greet, he returns and BOOM!

Lays waste to all the evil in the WWE and topples the monster Brock Lesnar - defeating his demons in the flesh on the biggest stage of the year!

Unfortunately that didn't happen (:

5) John Cena is a whiny little bitch and changed the original finish because he's Super Cena and can't be beaten! The internet sites will have you believe that Brock threw a hissy fit after the PPV because of Cena's little promo... apparently the "real" finish of the match was that Cena would be carried out on stretcher - therefore beginning my scenario explained aabove...

Internet sites KNOW nothing - guess everything. There is no fucking way a PG era PPV will end with John Cena, their #1 drawcard, the hero to kids and Moms carted out of the arena on the stretcher.. this is bullshit! It doesn't add to any story whatsoever and is "Attitude Era" shit for the sake of it.

WWE caters to hardcore fans and casual fans... right now Daniel Bryan is as popular as he's ever likely to be... thanks to WWE fucking it up at WrestleMania... the original plan was for Sheamus to squash Bryan and get the hero's reception afterwards... because he beat the "hated" heel for the title... WWE under-estimated the appreciation fans have for Bryan's heel work... and because of that WWE might have to turn Bryan face by the end of the summer!

So in the mean time Punk v Bryan is the way to go - 2 "internet favourites" battle for the world title.. Ring of Honor fans will cream their pants! More importantly the crowd that has embraced Bryan will pony up some money to see if WWE will wake the fuck up and put him on top - at least for the Summer.

Cena sees that Bryan has effectively taken his spot, is now the hero of the people....

Where could you go with that story? IMO Cena needs to be beaten down, to have doubt about his ability, to question his place in the WWE.... and you can do this over the next 12 months.... before you have him go one on one against The Undertaker at WrestleMania... the biggest challenge of his career, the biggest fight of his life... can Cena find redemption? WWE might not put Punk v Bryan on last - and it won't be THE story going into the PPV... but it's the main event to a lot of people.

The other World title will be decided in a 4 way clusterfuck... it doesn't matter who is in it having 4 wrestlers in the same singles match dilutes the crowd reaction and emotional investment...

How so? Because generally they put 2 heels in vs 2 faces... so it plays like a tag team brawl... except the fans KNOW it's for the World singles title... and if you like both the good guys you kind of sit on the fence and hope ONE of them win it...

If you allow the fans too many options it falls flat - always has and always will. Having more people is great for big "spots" because you have more guys who can do more moves but for the World Title? It needs to be 1 on 1 to maximise the whole "good vs evil" ideal.

The drama WWE has right now is... like Z most fans were actually cheering for Cena to get up and beat Brock at Extreme Rules.... after 2 years of crowds being split down the middle WWE had a monster heel who forced male wrestling fans to cheer for Cena... and then they went and had Cena get the W... AND move into a storyline with the GM!

WTF? Extreme Rules should have seen Brock win... Cena could have lost in plenty of ways without being pinned...

They could have had Cena counted out after Brock drills him on the floor.
They could have had Cena DQ'd for using the chain

Or better yet they could have had Cena pass out from a submission move, blood on face but he passes out (Austin v Hart at WrestleMania)

This shows Cena's determination as a character, his heart, guts, will, whatever... but also shows Brock is a big bad motherfucker!

Cena then could take a month or 2 off while WWE builds things around Punk, Brock, Bryan etc...

But WWE fucked it up... as usual. All they do is the same old shit - it gets them the guaranteed reasonable financial results they can depend on... it's all corporate bullshit!

I really wish someone would write a Be the Booker with my cast of wrestlers... but I've never found one!

It would basically be a Ring of Honor type promotion, with the best "technical" wrestlers (Angle, Punk, Danielson, Jericho, McGuiness, Aries, Styles, Samoa Joe etc) with Brock Lesnar as the big bad motherfucker.

Had the idea for years since Lesnar got pushed to the moon in WWE the first time... the roster included Shawn Michaels, Angle, Benoit, Eddie Guerrero etc

The booking is obvious - you have all these awesome technical guys having matches against each other - it's old school NWA booking... then Lesnar comes along and just fucking wrecks shoip, destorys all in his path and becomes the Champion.... and he then has awesome matches/battles with these great technical wrestlers....

The plan was to put Chris Benoit on a collison course with Lesnar... have Benoit and Eddie talk about never winning the world title... have Eddie turn heel (he can talk the crowd into hating him) in his quest to climb the ladder.... but instead of Eddie rising Benoit beats him and starts to roll over the technical heels, gets on a winning streak and it obviously comes to a head when he battles Lesnar on the big PPV.

After having Lesnar dominate for 12 months, beating some awesome dudes whomever beat him would go over huge! I'd scripted Lesnar to have 6 months off... you can't have him dominate for 12 months and then challenge for 3 months and lose. That kills his monster gimmick. So after his lose he'd have to sit out for a while... it's just logical

And Benoit was my guy. He was all business in the ring and could make anyone look good. Even though he was a little small I was happy as when Vince put the belt on him!

Anyway, Benoit then becomes the hunted... and he survives as Champion for a while... but eventually he'll do anything to keep the title.... he's worked his entire life for it.... and he slowly starts to show (more obvious) heel tendencies... and you turn Benoit heel while he's Champion - using the "obsessed with the title" story.... where he'll sell his own mother to keep his belt!

This is when a former partner or friend comes back into play... Eddie would claim the title changed them both... but that Eddie has seen the error of his ways (turns face) while Benoit has descended into darkness (lol) Then you have a classic best of 7 series(Magnum TA and Nikita Koloff had a best of 7 for the US title in the 80's, Benoit had a best of 7 v Booker T for the TV title in the 90's) between Eddie and Benoit where Eddie isn't so much trying to take the title... he's trying to "reach" Benoit, to wake him up... to show him the title isn't all that matters... family and friends matter too lol

and while Eddie and Benoit are going at it for the title a young brute arrives on the scene... Samoa Joe. He's smashing anyone and everything in his way.... he builds an impressive resume beating up the mid carders... he's looking to get his shot at Benoit or Eddie later in the year... and then Brock Lesnar returns to confront Joe!

Who is the biggest baddest fucker on Earth? Lesnar vs Joe to decide the #1 contender... Eddie v Benoit in the final of the best of 7 series for the title!

I'm gonna do my own Be The Booker... and do it in this thread for all those that don't want to read the fucking thing. There will be no pretty pictures though - I don't do details :)

The idea behind a Be The Booker is that you (me) as the writer pick a particular point in REAL time... WrestleMania X if you wish... and then you jump in and book the company after that point. This way anyone reading it or following it can go back and see what the company was doing before you took over... and then continue onwards as the Be The Booker takes shape.

Ideally someone writing a Be The Booker would map out a year or so of storylines, get a talent roster sorted, get the PPVs sorted and work towards each using the Tv shows each and every week...

all that is far too much work for someone as lazy as me :)

But I'm gonna take a stab at it because it's almost the NBA off-season, my NRL Fantasy team is set for 4 weeks and I can't make big changes to it and... no one cares about the NBA Draft...

Obviously I'll use TNA... I've bashed the fuckers for years so it's time to put up or shut up. Although to give myself a way out I'll use Paul Heyman as the guy taking over.

It was actually possible back at the end of 2009... when Hogan and Bischoff came in... can't believe those 2 fuckers have been there this long... and it's only the last 6-12 months that the company has got on the right track...

Ok... so I'll try to do this "properly" but I'm prone to dis-interest and am likely to go off on a lot of tangents because stories should have arcs and while the internet smarks are quite to bash a story as soon as it starts they have no idea where it's going... which is why I usually just outline the story I would book and never include little details of how they would write it each week because the little details week to week are just to fill in time until we get to the payoff... the PPV match

Simple example of a build to a PPV match =

Episode 1: Bad guy challenges good guy... good guy accepts! Bad guy then attacks good guy and leaves him laying
Episode 2: Bad guy cuts a promo gloating about laying out the good guy. Good guy shows up to say (basically) "Was that your best shot?"
Episode 3: Bad guy attacks good guy again and it's more brutal. Good guy is left laying once again
Episode 4: Bad guy gloats, replays the attack from last week, gloats some more. Calls out the good guy... who doesn't show
Episode 5: Bad guy gloats some more. Again calls out the good guy... doesn't show up
Episode 6: Bad guy gloats again. Calls out the good guy... who runs through the crowd and it's on like Donkey Kong... wild brawl
Episode 7: GM/Authority figure makes the match for the next PPV... the 2 cut promos against each other

Episode 8: This is the pivot point... if the good guy is going to win (and the good guy should) then you have the bad guy once again get the upper hand on TV so he goes into the PPV as strong as possible. IF the bag guy is going to win at the PPV then you have to give the good guy the "rub" here... so when the brawl happens on TV the good guy stands tall, closes the show with his hand held high

The PPV: Depends on what happened in Episode 8: If the bad guy beat the good guy down and left him laying once again you MUST have the good guy win here. The good guy has had his head handed to him the whole way through so if he loses here he looks like a chump. That's fine if you want to build a monster heel for a long run at the top... not good if you want the crowd to love your good guy. IF the good guy won the day in Episode 8 then the bad guy kicks the living shit out of the good guy here.. the good guy won't lay down... he keeps on fighting... but in the end the bad guy uses some object (chair, chain, brass, knuckles) and knocks the good guy out.

Having the bad guy win that way is GOLD! It makes the bad guy appear to be one bad mother fucker... he kicked arse! But it also gives your good guy "the rub"... makes him appear courageous, makes the good guy seem like the kind of guy who "will not quit", who will fight against all the odds

This shit is easy... so if I get motivated (I lost my motivation again lol) I'll do the be the booker thing I mentioned in the post above.

Right now I couldn't care less about pro wrestling... lazy ass writers, nothing big happening... although I must say TNA is doing some good stuff right now from all reports

I spent December of 1999 working several jobs in Gainesville. One of those jobs was on the loading dock at Toys ‘R Us. For an extra fee, customers could pay to have bikes, etc. built by employees instead of doing it themselves at home. An additional benefit was that big items, that were hard to hide, could be kept at the store until near Christmas.

On the night of December 23, I was at the back of the store and a series of customers came by with receipts to pick up their crap. I finally get to this giant dude who is posturing like a roided-up douche. I ask him for a receipt and he takes umbrage to store protocol. He drops a couple of f-bombs and makes a scene. The manager peeks out to assess the situation but he takes one look at the customer and literally runs back to his office.

Because I felt sorry for this piece of shit's kids, being so close to Christmas, I ask his last name to see if there is an invoice that matches the motorized car he claims to have purchased. He tells me his last name is Rhodes. After checking 50+ stored toys, I tell him there is no invoice with this name. He goes completely bananas. He begins by breathing through his nose like a horse and starts pressing up to me with his chest.

I calmly asked if beating-up a Toys ‘R Us worker was the best way to handle this situation - I was way past giving a fuck with this temp job. That did not go over well. At this point a wife/girlfriend stepped out of the car to intervene. No surprise she looked like someone who would bang a roided-up douche and someone who has: 1) caused lots of fights due to her choice of revealing attire; 2) had to cool-off this guy for flying off the handle on numerous occasions. I told them that I really wanted to help and asked if there was another name the invoice might have on it. Then the girlfriend gives me a different last name, Runnels, and, of course, there is the car right where it should be.

In the time it took for this to go down, there were a bunch of employees who had moved to the back to witness what was going on. After this dumbass left, one of my co-workers says, "I sold that car to him. That dude is a pro wrestler." He then explained that his name was "Goldust" but that he was also "Dusty Rhodes, Jr." or some shit like that. The whole story thing made very little sense to me. But I realized that I almost got the shit kicked out of me because some asshole was shopping under his fake wrestling name instead of the name that WAS ON HIS CREDIT CARD.

It's a pity Shane McMahon has nothing to do with the WWE anymore:

"WWE Global Domination", which I know I've mentioned several times. But I should probably explain it. WWE Global Domination was the last big idea Shane McMahon had before he left the company, or at least the last big idea he is rumoured to have had before he left.

The basic gist was that the WWE would set up a small, offically branded company in each major market. You'd have a WWE Europe, a WWE Asia, a WWE Mexico/South America, maybe a WWE Canada, as well as WWE America (FCW) and so on. They wouldn't be called that, but the basic idea would be that these companies would train and look for talent from their region, run shows, and also give WWE places to send people to season, to move them about so that guys and girls got to work in front of different crowds, in different styles, and learn how to work effectively anywhere. WWE would be able to find talent all over the place, be able to send talent it wasn't using to places they could (got nothing for Zack Ryder to do right now? Send him to WWE Australia for a couple months!) and recreate the territorial system with them at the helm of it.

Would it work on just a US scale? I mean, control with the feeder system is actually not that hard a sell, WWE tends to be somewhat hands off, relatively. Yes, Cornette complained, but Jimmy always complains, that's why we love him. But I'm not sure it would work just on the Continental US of A, in that USA already has a lot of indy companies, and too much competition is bad."

Just watched The Dark Knight Rises and a rather simple storyline came to me:

Take a regula bum on the roster (Tyson Kidd)... put him on Raw or Smackdown every week and have him lose. Do this for 6 months... until the fucker just SNAPS!

and when he snaps make it EPIC! He can destroy a camera, the commentator's table, destroys the ring announcer... dude can go crazy!

Then you have him "seek and destroy" all the guys who beat him for the past 6 months.... dude just attacks them anywhere. Backstage, on the ramp, in the ring, wherever and whenever he can.

For 6 months he takes his revenge on the people who beat him down... and while he's doing this he's obviously moving up the card and is becoming a massive threat...

If he doesn't catch fire as a character you simply have someone like Punk or Cena beat him on PPV... after which time his crazy character can still be crazy... but you tone it down like the rest of the shit on the show

If his character catches fire you have yourself a legit heel that can actually put on a great match v Punk, Cena, Daniel Bryan, Jericho, Rhodes, Orton, Ziggler etc

The only person to ever give that theory any validity was his own brother, Lanny, who has proven himself to be a shameless opportunist.


There's a lot of reasons why Savage was persona non grata in the WWF/e. One, he went to WCW after Hogan and took hi Slim Jim deal with him. Two, he slapped Vince McMahon in a bar one time so obviously they weren't on the best of terms as it was, anyway. And three, McMahon didn't see him on the same level as Hogan, Warrior etc. He was already being written out of wrestling altogether and pushed into a commentary booth before what Randy felt was his time.


Also, Randy did pretty well for himself and he was known to be quite hard to deal with by certain people and I'd guess McMahon was one of those people given their history. McMahon didn't feel like he needed Savage that badly and Savage didn't need Vince's money that badly. Two stubborn old men=uh, make up some clever shit on your own. The Xanax is kicking in.


Either way I don't think it's cool to basically call Savage a statutory rapist when no proof has ever been presented to support such an accusation. Now personally, if Savage fucked a 14 year old Steph and nothing ever happened to him for it I just find it hilarious. Besides, it's only immoral according to our consent laws. There are many nations where that's legal. It all went down at the Van Andel Arena ... sources tell us the 26 year old was taken into custody by the Kent County Sheriff stemming from an old speeding ticket.

We're told shortly after she arrived at the arena police showed up with a warrant ... she was hauled to a nearby police station where she was booked and took a pretty impressive mugshot.

A short time later Kaitlyn -- real name Celeste Bonin -- was released on a $315 bond.

Christopher Daniels v James Storm... seems they're plugging Storm into this feud because he was doing nothing and to allow Angle to have time off... plus we can't watch Styles vs Daniels forever

Sting vs D.O.C from Aces and Eights... Sting just returned so there ain't no fucking way he's losing here... just another opportunity for Aces and Eights to attack some kunt

Christian York vs Kenny King/Zema Ion... this is how far the X-Division has fallen... they had no contenders for RVD's title so they hold 2 matches and get 2 winners... then have them square off for the right to challenge RVD on the PPV... the difference here is that York or King/Ion will have to wrestle twice... and RVD doesn't

so... after reading the recaps here's where we go with this shit on the PPV:

Jeff Hardy has to come out of the PPV as champion... Roode takes the loss because at the next PPV it's Aries vs Hardy inside a cage.... how do you get to that? The match goes 25 minutes, ends fair and square with Hardy pinning Roode.... Hardy gets the closing shot in victory... the redemption theme is finished....

Christian York has been built up as something of value and so has King... so after Ion loses to King on the tv show you have York complain that RVD doesn't have to wrestle twice... but he does... and King does too. York can correctly point out that the Champion already has the odds in his favour because he can only lose the belt via pin or submission... now he's getting a rest too? Fuck that... York demands RVD wrestle twice... but it would have to be a non-title match.... so we have RVD in a non-title bout against Ion on the PPV... that makes it fair....

IF York (or King) was to lose to RVD on the PPV the whole bullshit thing of having those contender matches prior to it would essentially make those matches pointless - you'd have to do it again to find a new #1 contender if York (or King) lost... so York wins the belt from RVD on the PPV... how do you get there? York vs King takes place first... York wins... RVD vs Ion takes place next... King attacks RVD and injures his knee.... Ion loses by DQ... RVD then has to face York... who naturally takes adavantage of the injury to RVD and gets the win + the title... Losing this way protects RVD from losing to a young kid with little build up AND positions King as a kunt... why did he attack RVD? Was it sour grapes after losing to York? Why, why why? Now you have York vs RVD, King vs RVD... and we can get to King vs York with ease!

James Storm vs Christopher Daniels... assuming I'm right and they're simply putting Storm here so Kurt Angle can rest then what happens here is obvious.... Styles and Kazarian interfere during the match... this leads to tag team matches... and since Storm and Styles are basically big time losers in TNA (fail on the grand stage over and over) Daniels and Kazarian as heels would love pointing that out... obviously the losing only will last so long... but we're talking months here with Storm vs Daniels, Styles vs Kazarian... and tag matches. At worst we get great matches out of this

Tag Team Champs... Ryan and Morgan beat Chavo and Hernandez... can we just move along cause this is fucked? Let's be honest: no one gives a fuck about women's wrestling... we wanna watch hot chicks walk around in next to nothing and if they can put on a reasonable match without botching every spot in it then that's just gravy... you either need to hire talented wrestlers or just stupid bitches like WWE... TNA is trying to hire both but for whatever reason they're not using the division as much as they used to... I'll fix that over the next 4 tv shows I "write"... but fuck wasting time on the PPV to continue the "champ vs someone" roundabout they've got going on...

the screen flickers again and and we cut to a TNA/IW graphic for the Genesis PPV... you know the ones with the title, date, place and info shit on them.... but the screen flickers some more and now we're looking at clips of bod ybags being dumped into unmarked graves... lots of body bags... lots of unmarked graves....the screen flickers some more and we return to the original PPV graphic... only this time the word Genesis isn't there... instead it says "The End of the Beginning"....

So here we are at the PPV... the Aces and Eights storyline has been set up... you have the commentators run through WTF is going on... Anderson is "evil"... has joined Aces and Eights.... Bully Ray hasn't been seen all day... is he even here? How is he after the Stun Gun attack on Imapct? Sting is fuming... pissed at Hogan, disappointed in Bully Ray, out to get Anderson and not fucking happy no one came out to chase Aces and Eights off as Impact went off the air :)

D.O.C vs Sting is the typical Sting match... kind of talented big man gets to pound Sting down and around ringside as Sting has his usual hope spots but with D.O.C in control the action is boring as fuck because his offense consists of chokes, back breakers, clotheslines... and with the crowd bored out of their mind the creative team (ME!) decide to send the rest of Aces and Eights down to ringside... so out walk Devon, Mike Knox, Ken Anderson and a masked dude.... obviously this brings out Wes Briscoe, Garrett Bischoff and Samoa Joe...

Sting is tossed to the outside... and this starts the brawl... fuckers fighting everywhere... kunts doing the usual shit... chairs are being used.... they pair off:

So that's the PPV booking... now you have to put it in order to build the show....

Show would open with York vs King... fast paced, high flying shit usually opens a PPV... or it did when WCW was around... not sure how WWE open their PPVs... but the idea is to get the fans up and into the show straight away... plenty of time for resting later but you want them to fire up now and get into it so they aren't a dead crowd all night.

Next would be RVD and Ion... short as shit cause King attacks RVD... and you don't wanna tire out the crowd in the first 2 matches... ebbs and flows and all that shit... bring them up but let them digest the shit they've just seen and not just run through the show at a million miles per hour... need to let shit marinate

Next would be the chicks match... Mickie wins the title...toilet break for most.... but the next match needs to epic otherwise you lose the crowd... 2 "down" moments is enough... 3 would be too many...

So the Aces and Eights stuff would go here... Karl Anderson Rules the World... this way the commentators can mention it all night long when shit got boring...and the crowd are now wide awake to shit... some might see this as a "down" note but TNA fans aren't WWE fans.. they're marks... they understand the business to a certain extent... and would fucking love it if Anderson arrived and laid everyone out like I described

Tag Title match because you need to allow people to absorb what went down with Aces and Eights... and no one gives a fuck about the tag champs

This is all developing as I write this, but WWE is working re-write massive parts of tonight's Raw as The Rock is not there as originally planned.

The word backstage is that he left for Los Angeles this morning. WWE sources indicate this caught the company completely off guard and there's a lot of heat on Rock at the moment.

There had been talk of shooting a major angle with Rock to begin building Wrestlemania 30, possibly an angle with Undertaker or Brock Lesnar (we've heard both discussed but mostly Lesnar) and all that is out the window.


Update (4:30PM ET):
The original script for Raw was set to feature The Rock opening the show with a promo about losing the WWE title to John Cena.

The promo would have led to Brock Lesnar and Paul Heyman confronting Rock and laying him out, setting the seeds for a future PPV bout between the two.

With Rock bolting home without notice, WWE is currently re-writing the show. It's "chaos backstage" according to one talent we've heard from.

TAMPA — A former professional wrestler stabbed a woman to death Wednesday night, then led authorities on a chase until he crashed his car and was captured, investigators said.

Brian McGhee, 29, who went by the wrestling moniker of "The Future" Donovan Ruddick, will face a first-degree murder charge, according to the Hillsborough County Sheriff's Office.

Deputies say he stabbed a woman multiple times about 8:30 p.m. Wednesday in an apartment at 8451 Del Lago Circle, in the Egypt Lakes area.

Deputies said the victim was thought to be his girlfriend, but they did not release her name. Early Thursday, the Sheriff's Office announced that the woman had died at the scene as a result of her injuries.

About the time of the stabbing, according to a computer time stamp, McGhee posted a new profile picture on his Facebook page, showing what appears to be an arm or leg, bleeding from a gash. Friends and family urged in postings on his page to call them.

Authorities said he fled in a Pontiac Grand Prix before they arrived at the apartment. They put out an alert for the car.

The car was spotted in Tampa, and authorities from the Sheriff's Office, Florida Highway Patrol and Tampa Police Department gave chase.

McGhee was captured in Pasco County, the Sheriff's Office said, after he crashed near County Line Road and Interstate 75.

He was taken to St. Joseph's Hospital in Tampa, but authorities did not specify his injuries.

In a video on YouTube dated 2008, a man who identifies himself as "The Future" Donovan Ruddick posed for the camera and boasted that he is 6-foot-9 and 275 pounds.

The Sheriff's Office says is a little bit shorter, and a little bit heavier, than that and has two tattoos — one that says "Fat Fat" and one that says "Brianna" and displays a cross.

According to his Facebook page, McGhee had been employed by World Wrestling Entertainment from 2010 to 2012, and had been assistant manager of a pawn shop in St. Louis, Mo., before that.

Rhodes would bring the case out every time he wrestles... and would have to be on guard in case Sandow came out to steal it back... you can have Rhodes constantly paranoid/distracted by the threat of Sandow rushing the ring to get his case back.. have Sandow play the smart heel coming up with different ways to get his case back...

Now, if you want Rhodes to go over Sandow you have to position him as being smarter.... but you can't get the fans behind him if he constantly keeps Sandow at bay. Sandow has to get the case back... the question is: how?

Have Sandow hire different wrestlers (lower card guys) and have Rhodes beat them.... then Sandow hires some big gun who "earns" the case back... Sandow then demands the case... the big gun refuses to give it up... Sandow, Rhodes and this big gun battle over the case... Rhodes wins the day

Advantages to doing it this way:

1 - Rhodes and Sandow are viewed as mid-card fodder right now... getting them into a 3 month feud with a big gun pushes them up the ladder a bit
2 - Rhodes out-smarts the smart heel... he's not a fool...and fans should expect him to be smart since his Dad is a fucking legend and Cody has "grown up" in the business
3 - Sandow comes off as the smart but whiny heel that couldn't get the job done on his own... which is essentially what all heels are like

He's from a generation of wrestler that I don't know anything about. I gave up after Rock/Austin ended, but it seemed noteworthy.

Definitely not Rock/Austin level in popularity, but pretty damn good I think.

FOX 5 in Atlanta (via ProWrestling.net) reports that Atlanta police have issued an arrest warrant for Heath Slater (real name Heath Miller) for an incident at the WrestleMania 27 after-party in 2011.

Corrine Oliver, who was working security, claims that Slater put her in a chokehold and tried to get her into an elevator to drag her to his room at the Hyatt Regency Atlanta. She claims the attack caused damage to five vertebrae in her back.

She reported the matter to her supervisor (at Allied Barton Securities) the morning after it happened, but she waited three months to file a police report. She claimed that she waited for the supervisors to file the report but they didn’t. She also said that other wrestlers saw what Slater was doing and didn’t help. The police report said the incident was a “simple assault/battery”.

WWE lawyer Jerry McDevitt said in a statement that the charges were filed against Slater and not the company.

I've got no idea about the back stories of the matches but I've read reviews of the show and am gonna youtube the shit outta it.

I probably would've been interested when I was a kid and really into rasslin'.

I only care enough to watch WWE though, and that's mainly out of habit. And because it's so easy to make fun of.

From what I've read of the show the last 4 matches are top shelf...

I'll probably youtube the main event if possible and see how the Japs do it and if I'm not bored after it I'll look for the other matches

I haven't watched any wrestling for a few years now and only watched selected matches for the 2 or 3 years prior to that.

The booking pisses me off that much! I believe booking is easy...if you have the time and could be bothered I'm sure anyone who watched wrestling for a year could do it...unless you worked for WWE of course...worst bookers on the planet IMO
