MAYBE Charlie Sheen. His BMW found at the bottom of a ravine off Mulholland this morning. Shit is only about a mile or two from my place... the helicopters and siren woke me up this morning.

LAPD says the car was stolen, but we'll see. Isn't the first time they've lied to prevent a circus.

The helis and sirens began around 6am, which is interesting considering the police wouldn't have known it was Sheens car probably until daybreak. The reports are the police were already at his house working on a stolen car report -- doesn't the dude have a locked garage??? Where did the car get stolen from, and what celebrity is up so early in the morning to call the police that morning about his BMW suddenly gone?

My guess is, they were at his house on a missing persons call (him), and in a drunken rage he ran his car off a cliff. We'll know more later in the day.

I reproduced what Pharaoh was seeing with news.google.com.au search, but NOT news.google.com which gives more appropriate non-Spice Girl results. The media sources and weights on the media sources differ. For U.S.-based stories, you may want to use the U.S. news source. For stories based in other countries, it can be helpful to change the news source to that other country temporarily.

GF kind of deserved better than she got. Mondale was a sacrificial lamb - he was an entitled doofus and he knew he didn't have a chance in 1984. But Ferraro was a rare politician who was clever, calm, educated and professional. IIRC she cleaned up in the VP debates. 84 and 88, the Dems might have done better if they had swapped the #1 and #2 on the ticket - they still wouldn't have won, probably, but they would have avoided embarrassing themselves.

Not the overweight n eating part, but the heart attack part fits. I'm surprised he didn't just pound it out and keep going... though maybe he's done that 50-100 times already.
