But I do think they will make it out..Czech and USA. I dont really know much after that other than Brazil is virtually unstopable and Ronaldinho is the best player to ever lace up shoes.

I don't follow soccer well enough to make any worthwhile predictions for every group. I'll say that many people are picking the Ivry Coast team (Côte d'Ivoire) as perhaps the suprise of the tournament and while Brazil seems to me to be a lock for one side of the finals (England is overrated as a team IMO) and I think that an Argentina vs Germany match decides the other half. If Germany makes it, I have a hard time picking against the home team in a final (particularly since Brazil has a hard time in WCs in Europe) but if Argentina is there I'm picking Brazil 10 times out of 10.

Awesome game for Trinidad & Tobago, hanging on for the tie being a man down. Don't know of any other sport where at the end of a tie game I was excited at the ending.

The England game showed me how bad they are compared to the other elite teams. PAraguay had one player who was decent and really tried while England is full of talent and yet the only goal they scored was an own goal by PAraguay.

One reason why its not so loved is because there is no dominant league in the US as compared to the premiere league in Europe or maybe even the spanish leagues.

The Worldcup has to be one of the most "friendliest" sporting events as well. Just saw a small clip of a Togo player trying to "massage" a korean player's ankle after he rolled it. The switching of the jerseys etc. A very respectable event overall.
