Ford's v10

Anyone have any comments? I've always went with diesels, but there is this truck on the lot and it has a v10.

My uncle has a super duty V10 (couple years old). Says it's a beast power wise. I've ridden in it often and the truck drives very smooth. They live in Dillon (9,000 ft high) and hauls his trailer in the mountains a lot, so I'm sure he puts it to the test. No idea what MPG it gets though.

I saw/heard a v10 supercharged on youtube and it had that quasi whistle that you hear with turbos. They have different types of mufflers too, flowmaster, et al.

This particular truck has that built-in laptop situation thing or something. It comes with a keyboard. Not a huge screen but at least when I need a number I can hit the web, need an email I can hit the web, need to tell LDB to fuck off, i can do that during the day. Not just in the evenings.

I thinks its called Ford's Bidness Solutions or some shit like that.

I took the truck today for about half the day and drove the piss out of it. It is a strong engine. I climbed to 2500 feet and was able to accelerate up any hill. Thats with the utility body on it...15-16 hundred pounds.

The ride is so much better than my 06. Fords ride doesn't compare to chevy's but Ford seems to be getting a lot better. It drives easy too for a 1 ton.
