If they were rated the same, they may have chosen to take the position of need. Mayhew and Schwartz has said that, among a group of similarly talented prospects, they would take need. But I didn't see any situations where that was the case.
I had Martez Wilson rated as my no. 1 LB for this scheme, but apparently he has a neck issue and I understand that this regime is very risk-averse (Mayhew calls it "calculated risk").
