Rip might not throw down but he's a pretty tough player.

Hermy stated why we can't ever have Artest on the roster.

And Blair? I'm not a fan of adding another undersized PF considering the last one we drafted hasn't lived up to my expectations.

However if Blair is the best player available when we pick then we should Draft him. That's all I ever want - the best player available.

No Artest. Not after what happened.

Dude stuck up for himself. Exactly why he belongs on the All Badass team.

no he didn't. sticking up for himself would've been confronting the guy who challenged him when he got pushed- ben wallace. but artest was smart enough to know he was no match for ben. he punked out and 'stuck up for himself' against a skinny little dude who he thought had thrown a plastic cup of water at him.

that's not sticking up for yourself. that's bitching out and redirecting your anger against somebody you actually have a chance at beating. artest is no tough guy. he's a punk and always will be a punk.

it just so happens that he's also a hell of a player too. but not one who could ever play in detroit.

Artest is a trained boxer. He would have destroyed Ben Wallace.

The fact is he did stick up for himself. He was already restraining himself, then a certain fan threw a drink and then it was on. If someone threw a drink at me, I would fuck him up.
