The NBA is back!! Hopes and dreams abound, as teams look towards the next six months to gel into a championship contender. Our beloved Pistons are looking like a whole new team, post-Ben Wallace. In WTFDetroit's inaugural NBA Power Rankings, MOLA1 adds his insight and wit as he combs through the league. No punches pulled, no feelings spared as we get down the nitty gritty. Let's see how the NBA's best are lining up.

1. SUNS -- What did you expect me to say.... the Knicks???

2. MAVS -- The hottest team in the Association, and also one of the ugliest.

3. CAVS -- Stern manlove for LBJ = a cakewalk in the Leastern Conference.

4. LAKERS -- Don’t you laugh...don’t you laugh. Without Odom or Brown, still winning.

5. SPURS -- Yawn. Same ol’ same ol’.

6. PYSTUNZ -- I’d get banned if I placed ‘em any lower, but....

7. JAZZ -- Jazz? In Utah? Shoulda dumped the name for “Flying Mormons” or sumthin’.

8. BULLS -- of shit. Big fan of Ben Gordon. Not a fan of Ben Wallace.

9. WIZZ -- Second hottest team in the east. You = Arenas’ bitch.

10. WOLVES -- About to implode? Not yet. Won four in a row.

11. ROCKETS -- Not bad minus that Chinese dude. Kung Pao Chicken is tasty.

12. NUGGZ -- Carmelo is a gay bitch. Maybe AI can kick his ass for us when he comes back.

13. SAC -- +0.4 in points differential so far = a 14-17 record. Tough luck.

14. WARRIORS -- 18-18 in the West > 18-16 in the East.

15. CLIPS -- 15-17 in West > 18-16 in the East. Elton Brand is a basketball God.

16. PACERS -- Only two good things come outta Indy: one of ‘em is corn, the other is NOT a basketball team.

17. BUCKS -- New christmas colors does not equate to more wins.

18. HEAT --Hahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahaha!! !!

19. THE ENTIRE ATLANTIC DIVISION -- Good work boys. Break out the Nerf balls.

20. MAGIC -- Number 20 only because I forgot about them, and I’m too lazy to edit.

21. KNICKERBOKERS -- The NBA’s version of the Mendoza line. Any team ranked below them is, quite frankly, worthless. So.....

22- 30. Who cares.
