Nuggets looking to trade Martin for sure

Denver Post - The Denver Post is reporting that the Nuggets have put out feelers for forward Kenyon Martin, and were recently turned down by the Portland Trail Blazers when inquiring about a Zach Randolph for Martin swap.

According to the Denver Post, another NBA source said the Nuggets have turned down possible trades for Martin from a Western Conference and Eastern Conference team.
Bet you that eastern conference team was a team in New York

Denver would be wise to take Jalen Rose and a late first rounder from NY.

Will the Knicks offered that? I'm sure I read something about the Knicks (actually Dolan) not wanting to add long-term contracts. I can't remember where I read it though

An unquestionably highly overrated player with a HUGE contract and lingering injury issues?

    Know what they call that?

That, my friends, is what they call "a Knickerbocker".

It will be more than that IMO. Thomas will overpay, again. Francis and a 1st? Rose and a high 1st? Something bigger.

It won't be as much as Kiki payed for him.

Please, Kiki gave up very little for Martin.

Sure he's overpaid but so are a ton of players. The picks he gave up aren't worth much either.

Didn't we go through this before, Fool?

And I'm sure Zeke would give up more if he could, but what else does he have? Frye? Lee?

LMMFAO - Thomas will probably trade Rose, first rounder + Frye for K-Mart

3 firsts. Denvers not getting that. Thus my statement is true.

Yes we did go over it before and your point of "well the Nets aren't going to use those well anyway" is still as poor as it was then.

Though, betting on Zeke not to be dumber than Kiki is a weak position I admit.

Well, they used two of them + an expiring and crap for VC, and were able to hold onto the Clippers pick that most everyone figured would be a lottery pick. As it stands, Jersey has two adjacent picks #22 and #23 in 2006, which could be interesting (though I bet Thorn was hoping for the Clippers to be in the lottery ).

Heat were interested according to the Ny daily news...

The fact remains all 3 picks NJ got for Martin were/are worth crap.

What became of those picks after Kiki dealt them has nothing to do with him.

Following the logic of Uncle Mxy:

Joe traded the Memphis pick and our 2006 first rounder for Kelvin Cato and a 2007 Orlando pick

    Burn him!
