Sometimes, it's helpful to find out what their real name and residence is, and has been over the years. Chuck Daly is a relatively common name, but digging up that his real name is Charles Jerome Daly and that he lives in Tequesta, Florida makes finding his campaign contributions easier:

Note that you'll see manybig NBA names donate to the likes of Dick Versace and Bill Bradley, for obvious reasons.

Also, look at the spouses of celebrities. Joe Dumars didn't give a lot of money to Obama, technically speaking, but Debra Dumars on the other hand...
