    GSW idea

Nelson is determined to deal Jamal Crawford, and his 3pt shooting could be useful to the Pistons, but they'd have to be motivated to take him on, which means more talent would need to be added to the deal.

What would it take to get Biedrins added to the deal?

    Rip/Amir/#15 for Biedrins/Crawford?

Amir could fit nicely in that style of offense. Or maybe it's Rip/Kwame for Biedrins/Crawford (if GSW insists on a center).

    Any other possibilities?

Crawford is kind of toxic on message boards, I assume that some won't want him at all.

I don't hate him, but I look at our starters, and they're .500 with this team. Beens doesn't bring much besides rebounding. JCraw and Stuck are meh. Tay is meh. Nah, sorry G. No go.

Before Joe chases him or even makes a phone call I'd look to see how he performed against Cleveland the last 2 seasons.

If he played well more often than not I might consider him. Otherwise I'd spend my money on someone else.

Right now all we should be worried about is beating Cleveland.

So they have nothing you'd want?

I don't think that's not what he means GD.

I really don't wanna speak for Hermy but...

I think he means that the guys we get from GSW don't excite him. They don't bring something special.

Sure, they might bring 3 point shooting (JC) or boards (AB) but they are limited in other areas...

Is that what you meant Hermy?

I don't think they have difference makers either. We need to turn this cap space into one difference maker and one complementary big man at the very least.
Phil Wenneck: The man purse. You actually gonna wear that or are you just fuckin' with me?
Alan Garner: It's where I keep all my things. Get a lot of compliments on this. Plus it's not a purse, it's called a satchel. Indiana Jones wears one.

I'd be hoping for more than.

2 difference makers and a role player.

I guess that depends on how you define a "difference maker"

To me a guy like Varejao could be classed as a difference maker.

And I don't think Boozer is gonna make much of a difference here.

I wasn't really planning on using any cap space here.

I'll take Biedrins over Varejao every day of the week.

Varejao didn''t even start on his own team for large parts of the season, Biedrins just turned 23 (4 years younger than AV) and put up 12 & 11 this year with nearly 2 blocks/gm. He'd be a top 5 rebounder in the league and top 10 in blocks if he had played a couple of more games to qualify.

I think Varejao is a solid role player, but Biedrins is a starting caliber center, FCS.

Biedrins at least has a post game. I'd rather have him too. Varajao would be a great fit next to TD or Yao, but they can't afford him.
