    something to chew on

    case 1:
    2008: #76
    2007: #60
    2006: #15
    2005: #38
    2004: #103
    2003: #97

    case 2:
    2008: 109
    2007: 75
    2006: 33
    2005: 55
    2004: 46
    2003: 12

    case 3:
    2008: 59
    2007: 15
    2006: 5
    2005: 50
    2004: 26

heres something i found interesting. what are these meaningless numbers, you say? not so fast.

case 1: the sweatervest's rankings for total offense that year.
    case 2: michigan's
    case 3: WVU

and heres WVU's scoring offense for the same time:

    Scoring Offense
    2008: 73
    2007: 9
    2006: 3
    2005: 31
    2004: 29

i was shocked to see how mediocre two of the better programs in the country had done over the time period, and how dynamite RR had done. no wonder he's considered an offensive genius. cant wait for all the sails to be pointing in the same direction.

Someone post the teams RR had to go against vs. the Big Ten Schools. RR is an offensive genius, but he proved it against mediocre competition.

First of all, defense wins championships.

Secondly, as Melo pointed out...CONFERENCE. Half of the WV schedule each year is more than a joke.

Yeah, the Big East has teams like Rutgers and Pitt. Only programs that are a joke have series against them.
We had subs. It was crazy.

Winning breeds confidence. Losing breeds reality.
