    RIP Sabrina Black

If you are like me you probably have been a fan of WDFN for a long time and you are familar with Sabrina Black and her public battle with lymphoma, well according to Gregg Henson's website she lost her valiant battle with the disease. It is a sad and upsetting day.

Though I did not know her personally, she was a source of inspiration to me and I am sure to countless others. Some of my favorite moments of the last couple years have been from hearing her on radiothon and knowing she was winning the battle. Everytime I heard her beautiful voice it was like taking a shot of life, that re-inspired me annually. It will be hard tuning to radiothon
and not hearing her. I hope that WDFN does something nice to pay tribute.

Very Very sad. She was on her way to a great radio career when she was stricken ill. This is just horrible.

She seemed to be one of the good ones. She was definitely a fighter, having Lymphoma for six years with in never going into remission. She never let it beat her spiritually or emotionally, though I am sure there was some dark days, she always came out smiling. RIP.
