This game is a perfect example of why the Tigers are not really a contender as they stand. Rayburn f'd up but it wasn't an error. Same thing with Cabrera. Then Peralta couldn't reach a slow roller up the middle. This teams defense is mediocre at best but at least they are fun to watch.

This is very true. Infield defense is horrible and it's affected the pitching staff.
