NFL Free Agency signing period Feb 26th

Beginning at 11:01 p.m. (CT) on Thursday, February 26.

Signing period: For restricted free agents, from Feb. 27 to April 17; for unrestricted free agents, from Feb. 27 to July 22 (or the first scheduled day of the first NFL training camp, whichever is later); and for franchise players, from Feb. 27 until the Tuesday after the 10th week of the season (Nov. 17).

Does anyone have a good site/list of FAs? Even if you have a site that doesn't have them rated but the ones that are really available would be nice. thx

The sites I go to, half of the FAs are really not available, the other half suck and the other half are asking for too much money. So 150% of them don't seem like good candidates to me.

Derrick Brooks was cut today along with Galloway, Dunn and a couple other vets from Tampa. If this was last year's staff we'd sign them all.

Most mocks I see have them taking OT Jason Smith after we take Stafford.

Or hoping Bulger stays healthy (doubtful). I don't know how much Trent Green will mean for the #2 pick. He was their backup, not their starter. Maybe they're thinking of taking someone in the 2nd (Freeman or Sanchez if they fall) and letting them develop behind Bulger.

I doubt they think either would fall to 2nd round. They probably roll with Bulger and take a later QB. If the Lions aren't sold on Stafford they should try and swap picks. They could probably get a 3rd rounder for just swapping spots. plus they'd save money too.

BTW, that's a good place for Dan O to sign and have a decent chance at starting soon.
