Michael Curry is a disgrace to the organizaion

    Sorry, had to vent.

Only reason I can think of for him benching Iverson instead of Rip is because rip is the one with the 3-year contract, so he'd rather make Iverson pissed off than Rip.

Iverson is the one with the bad PR history, so if he shows up Iverson and Iverson gets pissed, he can easily spin it in his favor and make Iverson the bad guy.

Meanwhile, if he makes Rip pissed, it makes Curry look bad that one of the old guard can't stand him.

Not much of what Curry does is actually predicated on actual basketball. It's all about politics and massaging egos. Every decision is based on finding the right ass to kiss to put himself in position to keep his job.

I doubt he'd even be playing Stuckey this much if he wasn't sure it would make his boss happy.

Keep in mind, Curry is the same guy that couldn't play worth shit in Toronto, but kept his job because he agreed to play locker-room snitch for mangement.

Michael Curry is one of the 5 worst coaches in the NBA right now. The Pistons won't win anything (and by anything, I mean a division, a playoff series, anything) with him running the show.

Let's keep this positive, though. And the positive is this. Joe Dumars has always been willing to admit he made a mistake and move forward. That's one of his strengths. It won't happen this season, but if this continues, I could see Dumars firing Curry after the season. He has 2 guaranteed years left at $2.5 million per, and if Davidson buys off on eating that, there's a chance this debacle could only last a year.

Benching Iverson? Never happened. He jammed a finger, if you're referring to today.

One's with superstars on their team. Maybe you were spoiled by the era of no superstars and team work. lol

What response, I'm not on anyone's side and Curry hasn't looked great so far. My only point has been patience and if anything else finding it weird how right i was about all the armchair fuckheads flip flopping and finger pointing when their wishing for a change turns into a new mountain to climb. Pussies have been spoiled by the luck of the rasheed trade, but swapping out a Pg for a SG isn't really a milk and cookies trade. And no matter who is coaching it's a shitty setup that Iverson can't be the starting PG for us that i feel Joe D hoped he could. Changes everything in a nutty trickled down effect. Good luck to whoever has to run a this roster as is. You now have two all star SG's who want to start, one of them being a complete liability on defense, more teams realizing they should go at Iverson, no true center worth a damn, a young PG learning on the fly, possibly your best all around player at SF struggling at PF, and a crop of very disappointing big men on your bench not counting Dyess.

As far as the thread goes, good luck. Don't know what Kstat's vendetta bitching and "threw him under the bus" threads gain, but good luck with it nonetheless.
