Thank God the AI trade happened. It will stop me from going into a deep depression with the BO win. He will tax the rich, corporations and drag this country down with his socialism. JM ran a shitty campaign or he could have won this thing, me thinks.

And thanks to Bush and the House's spending, we end up with BO. BOOOOOOOOOOO!

But it is a historic day in that we will elect our first AA as Prez. Props to us. I feel good about that, I just wish it was Colin Powell or something. Not this tax and spend lib.

My prediction on final score is a 338-200 win for Obama (with the popular vote being closer than the electoral map suggests).
Phil Wenneck: The man purse. You actually gonna wear that or are you just fuckin' with me?
Alan Garner: It's where I keep all my things. Get a lot of compliments on this. Plus it's not a purse, it's called a satchel. Indiana Jones wears one.

Popular vote is generally much closer than electoral vote.

Remember, if you are in a state that is assuredly Dem or assuredly Rep and doesn't have a lot of contentious ballot issue, you may not have a lot of incentive to vote. That's where the absurdity of trying to count popular vote for an electoral college election comes in. If it were just popular vote, then the goal would be to run up the score in population centers and gloss over less-populous areas.
