How many days is it before you normally start an APB for a poster?

I don't want to start it too early cuz I think there should be no special rules for anyone on WTF (you know the way the Jordans, Bonds, Ramirez's of the world get special treatment), but I don't want to be late on it either. I don't want SDB thinking we don't care.

Any input by anyone on when the APB should be started?

I think it should be performance based. Not all posters are created equal.

For people like you, Glenn and SDB, the APB should be put out after no later than 3 days. There are always reasons when people of your stature cannot post for a couple of days, but if there's a forseen absence coming, generally you should warn us.

Others like Vinny, Fool, Chris, CV and Zek, a five day wait should be acceptable.

Jethro, DrRay, Ledezma and Denny should be no more than a week.

Everyone else, 10 days should do.
