McLain will deliver a story of redemption during a presentation he’s set to share to men and boys soon at Oakland Church in Oakland Township.
“It will be about the long road of life,” said McLain in an interview with The Oakland Press. “The longer you live, the more opportunities you have to do the right thing, although I hate that term.”
McLain will present “Ty Cobb and Denny McLain — Tiger Tales,” during a men’s breakfast gathering at 9 a.m. on Saturday, June 20, at the church, which is located at 5100 Adams Road near Silver Bell Road. The performance will be something of a debate between McLain and actor Norm Coleman playing Ty Cobb, in which “there will be no shelter, no walls or dams,” said McLain.
