Anybody know anything about the censure process? Pros/Cons?

Censure = formal hand slap, nothing more or less. It could get Bush's misdeesds in the record books, as if it was in any danger of -not- getting in the record books otherwise. That's about it.

This sites been around for a couple years now. They have been trying but nothing has happened. I think I agree though that by this time, its better to wait out the two years. We dont need our gov stalled right now and especially if the dems win the senate that sends a pretty big message. I think the D was up by about 1000+ votes in Virginia as of a bit ago, which means that there will be a recount and according to what I read that will probably take until late December. If Virginia goes D then both houses would be Dem.

A censure's formal handslap might be the next best thing besides the ass-stomping that took place yesterday.

Let's leave no room for revisionist history about Bush's bevy of debacles.

Let's get it on record, maybe it can be some sort of deterrent going forward.
