I live in a town of less than 1,500 people.
The post office workers have not changed in a long, long time. Which makes this even less excusable.
They mix up my family's mail with another family's because they have a surname similar to ours, but not exactly (think 'Smith' and 'Schmidt').
Guaranteed at least five times a year, for the past ten+ years. And, no, it's not a case of 'cursive is so hard to read sometimes.'
And, yes, this is important, because the electric company doesn't give two shits if the post office screwed up.
I know it isn't 'a big deal', but you can only do so much damage through the post office outside of letter-bombs/anthrax. We're talking about a health-care system.
