Jay-Z signed Nas to Def Jam.

wow, this is even more shocking then kobe's 81 point game to me.

As viciously as these dudes went at each other on wax, I really thought it would result in something the exact opposite of a partnership. I remember them saying that their feud wasn't serious and it would remain lyrical. I remember thinking 'yeah, we'll see how long that lasts'. I guess they meant what they were saying though.

this move might be aimed at striking at 50 cent. jay z and 50 cent worked together but were never friends. and Nas and 50 cent are beefin'. maybe a def jam vs g-unit/aftermath thing. maybe Em is retiring so he doesnt have to get caught in beef with some major rappers for once(no ja rule cant rap, just serenade).

I am far too white to understand the significance of this news.
    Find a new slant.

I was thinking of fifty cent too, I just can't understand Jay-Z's angle in that. Everytime 50 mentions Jay-Z he's kissing his ass. In retrospect maybe he was just hoping this wouldn't happen.

Another interesting sidenote is that G-unit signed Mobb deep. With all the history between them and Nas, I was expecting some beef with that as well. Now i'm actually expecting this to all tie in at some point.

It's not the whiteness. most people who buy rap albums are white.

It's the age. you see this is typical old people shit. you get old and senile, start seeing the world through race goggles while remaining completely ignorant to the fact that your generation was likely viewed as the same from your elders. I bet you have male pattern baldness.
