Are the Hawks better than the Pistons?

    no.

Atlanta's depth is putrid, and their frontline is undersized. We'd wear them down in a 7-game series.

I assume that you mean that the Hawks aren't better, as opposed to meaning that you are not interested in discussing this.

    Maybe it's both.

I don't think they belong in a discussion with us. I think we have major matchup advantages in several positions and they have major advantages in only one.

We've screwed our own record up with these absurd strategies, but hopefully now that this is behind us, we can get down to business and put some distance between us and them.

K, what do you think would happen if they played a best of 7?

I'd say Pistons in 5, if they had HCA.

Not sure how much our depth would help us, and Smith is a tough cover for our guys. JJ would have his way.....I'll say we win in 7, which is as well as the Cs did last year.

I could look this up, but I'm lazy. Did they ever use thier MLE when Childress bolted?

I wonder if they'll try to lure him back ala Nenad Krstic?

Childress was gigantic in that series. They don't have him anymore, nor did they replace him.

Rip, McDyess and Maxiell would murder Mo Evans, Zaza Pachulia and Solomon Jones. We'd wear them down.

Also, our backcourt firepower trumps theirs. Give me Stuckey, Iverson and Rip against any backcourt in the league.

But we aren't as good as last year's Cs.
