Been a few days since I've had access to a TV, internet or anything of the sort. I'm resorting to using the public library for now, hopefully I'll have internet back up in another day.
Much different from Detroit. A lot slower, but it's also more relaxed, which is cool.
The %0 sales tax is also a nice touch.
No pro sports teams here, but apparently the state has adopted Philly and Baltimore as their own.
Oddly enough, any eagles fan (1 out of every 2 people I meet) I talk to will look ready to fight me when I say I'm not an Eagles fan, but when I meantion "Lions" all the fight goes out of them and they walk away like I told them I was handicapped or something. They literally will not pick on the Lions here. It's hilarious.
Only downside here is I'm living only a few miles from Dover Speedway, which is a major NASCAR track.
I'll miss the Palace, but I hope to drive out to philly to catch a Pistons game or 2. Maybe a Wizards or Nets game too.
