Well judging from what Dumars said, all we need to do right now is hope and pray 'Sheed and Rip both fuck up majorly around the All Star Break in '08.

    Starting lineup?

    Billups
    Hill
    Prince
    Garnett
    Nazr

Could hill play SG? Would we actually have to bring in a new SG? Would we be better off starting Delfino (if he can prove he can handle it) and bringing Hill off the bench as the backup to Prince and Delfino?

Think of Amir learning from KG in practice?

I would rather take a PG or SG (Stuckey?) and let he and Delfino battle for the starting spot. Then, we could sign Grant and use him as a super sub of sorts instead of a starter.

I would have no problems with that whatsoever. I don't really know much about Stuckey though. Would he be good enough to fight for a starting spot coming in? This is where I wish we could put a package together to move up and get a sure-thing SG or swingman in the draft. If we could somehow pull that off I'd do this deal faster than you can blink.

What about a guy like Nick Young? All the skills, just needs to work on the attitude. He should still be there when we're picking?

    Billups
    Young/Delfino
    Prince
    KG
    Nazr/Rookie/MLE?

I'd still rather find a way to move up and get Julian Wright or Corey Brewer if we made this deal. Anything else we can throw into this trade to get Minny to swap us picks? Maybe we give them both firsts in the deal and we get the #7. We could use that to pick up our SG or pick up a big man to play next to Garnett and include Nazr in a package for a servicable SG to compete with Delfino.

No way could we get Garnett without giving up picks.

Yeah, I thought about that. Never know. This is the era of 30 cents on the dollar trades for superstars. Maybe we pick up a bad contract in the deal and keep the picks? We throw in Nazr, they throw in Hudson or Jaric.

Nazr's just as bad a contract as either.

Nazr's a big. Some people don't think he's all that bad. Decent bigs are much harder to come by.
