Thread: The Unofficial Weather Thread.

So Ms. MoTown works for a bank inside a Kroger. Yesterday, as all the news reports were coming out as this was supposed to be the storm of the year, people were buying canned foods, and worrying about everyone else's safety for the day today. It was the busiest she's ever seen it.

I have two inches outside my door right now and the weather pattern is passed us.

I just wanted to make sure everyone's okay. Please, report in as soon as possible.

It's balls over here on the westsiiide.

I had 6" at my house this morning (snicker) and it took me almost two hours to get to work.

The report doesn't surprise me. That storm rolled through Denver a couple days ago and dropped 2 inches in an hour. But that's all it dropped because we're in a rain shadow (the mountains got 1-3 feet). They probably thought it would pick up enough moisture from lake michigan to drop a lot of snow.
Phil Wenneck: The man purse. You actually gonna wear that or are you just fuckin' with me?
Alan Garner: It's where I keep all my things. Get a lot of compliments on this. Plus it's not a purse, it's called a satchel. Indiana Jones wears one.

3-4" or so... not severe, thank goodness. There was a fair bit of rain, which probably would've been snow if it were a degree cooler.

I just want to mention how easy it would be to be a meteorologist.

Last week we get warnings that the storm of the century is on it's way. People cancel all their plans and expect to stay inside. Result? 2-4 inches of snow.

Yesterday, there isn't much word on anything big coming. No panic, no real conversation. Result? At least a foot of snow around the whole city.

My point is that it must be nice to be wrong in your job 90% of the time and still get paid. I wish I could fuck up 90% of the time in my job and still get paid.
