We already have two good TE's. Zach Miller is a beast low key.
We have Javon Walker and Drew Carter at WR with Curry. That'll be fine for now.
We are set at QB. May bring in a vet for safety net. But otherwise set.
We have plenty of DT's, just need to get better NT Play and Kelly will probably improve our Run Defense. The reality is that Sapp isnt that great a run defender. I agree that a De woulda been nice. OL is set. Its the system that works, the O-Line we had was good enough to block us into a top 5 rushing offense. Woulda been nice to get a for sure Strong Side LB. But we're average at that spot, hopefully thats enough. Either way our draft kinda sucked.


With that said Mcfadden is a perfect fit for our scheme. My only worry is whether the defense keeps up.

So the Raiders have Justin Fargas, LaMont Jordan, Dominic Rhodes, Michael Bush and now they are planning on taking McFadden?

Rhodes is out and hopefully Jordan will soon follow. I dont like the pick, but I cant deny that its not a bad perk to add McFadden.

Darren McFadden + Michael Bush= Potent.

Also Chris Johnson of the titans almost(i repeat almost) reminds me of the Lions #20. But he's nowhere near as good the tackle breaker. But his speed and cuts are amazingly solid.

How's that tackle the Lions drafted over him doing?

Yea he's starting, Al Davis would kill Kiffin if he wasn't. Russell is the starter and Walter is his backup. The team officially is his to QB.

He's looked ok. Arm is the reincarnation of brett favre heat wise. His WR's have been crappy unfortunately. But Zach Miller has been a beast and should get 80+ catches this year. Though he's not a runner his ability to evade the rush has been top notch and he's going to make alot of plays in and out of the pocket. So to answer you're question there is no situation at the moment. Russell is starting win lose or draw barring injury?~knocks on wood~.

Don't know about that. You guys kinda regressed and have new coordinators to learn from(again?). There's a lil' bit more settled element in Oakland with a year worth of everything in place. While I dont know if we are a playoff team yet, we are better than the lions.

Come on, the Lions suck but you're eating a little bit of the cornbread here for the Raiders I think. Football's still won in the trenches and I just don't know if either team has enough talent on the lines to win many games.
