    No but I hear from friends that those repair places generally do a great job. Generally like 40-70 bucks, much cheaper than a replacement for like an iPhone or something.

    I get to find out. Supposedly, my phone is under warranty, but we'll see what happens. I have no idea of how the LCD panel died.
