I did it once (if with not exactly perfect shapes), but it took a bunch of tries.

I also figured out how you could do it, and well while still following those rules, start with the circle part of the 6, and do it clockwise.

That's not how I got it to work for real, but I think that my being left handed made it slightly easier.
