And someone was probably just fucking around because Duke got a vote.

I don't know why everyone is riding OSU's jock.

    Spurrier did it.

He has said that he votes for his old schools in the preseason polls, because they don't mean shit.

Losing 9/11ths of your D(including your entire defensive backfield, and LB core), along with your top WR and OL doesn't make them great to you, what a crazy thought.

Plus Texas loses the player who won them 2 games by himself for them(OSU and USC), along with one of their better RB's(Taylor) on top of their senior class.

Oklahoma loses their QB and RG unexpectedly.

Not a lot to choose from.

I feel the exact same way DSC. I don't think there's a clear cut #1 or #2 team this year. It's anybody's ballgame.

BTW, Michigan being at #15 is the lowest they've been ranked in the preseason poll since 1985. They ended up finishing the year at #2, wouldn't mind that too much.

Wow, MSU got shafted and Michigan should have an easy climb to the top 10.

I'm happy for Oregon though. Currently the Ducks are at No. 20, with Oklahoma at No. 5, a game now looking exceedingly winnable. They have a realistic shot at going 10-2 and winding up with a great bowl game.

Things are looking rosy (and no, I don't mean the Rose Bowl).

With a victory over Notre Dame on Sept 16, Michigan is a lock for the top 10. Now they just need to get that victory.
We had subs. It was crazy.

Good luck getting that victory Jethro.

Notre Dame is the clear cut #1 in my opinion. Their offense will be stacked, they have one of the best coaches in the game, and their defense should be better. If they can only get past their nemesis Spartans.

By the way Unibomber. You know I'm a die hard Spartan, but they did NOT get screwed by any means. Why the hell would anyone vote for them? They haven't given anybody reason to trust them in 6 years.
