If you guys can't see that this type of shit is exactly what drives people away, then you're fucking blind. This mighty and all-powerful Oz fucking bullshit. This is not a fucking elementary school classroom, it's a messageboard full of people with varying viewpoints and personalities. You Syndicate guys seem to think you can enforce your will upon the members to make them all act a certain way, and it's getting fucking ridiculous.

I recommended long ago that no one should be banned, ever. That the good posters should always weed out the shitty ones. A good board should be self-regulated, with minimal interference from mods and admins. This holier-than-thou shit is really fucking pathetic.

I remember when this place was fun, too. But now I think it needs a total restructuring because it's getting out of hand. First, the Syndicate needs thicker skin. Second, drop the whole idea of plastering rules all over the fucking place. Third, keep internal battles internal whenever possible.

But what the fuck do I know. I'll probably be banned for having a dissenting viewpoint anyway.

I would attempt to defend myself but I believe that Denny knows exactly what I was doing at the time and I believe he is rather happy I discussed things with him.
