    Instant Messenger of Choice

Whats your favorite instant messenger of choice. I use 3 of them my self, and MSN is my favorite, although everyone I know is on AIM. AIM blows

Everyone I talk to is on AIM. I used to use YAHOO! back in the day but I dont know anyone that uses it now.

Most of my live chatting with others is via IRC, though I use AIM sporadically to talk to people who are only on AIM. I avoid advertising AIM (or any other IM service) as a contact method, though. I have far too many people bugging me and get distracted as a consequence as it is.

I use AIM the most, but I like Yahoo features and that fact that you can leave a message for someone, even if they aren't online.

Trillian's a very good mulit-service client for a lot of people, but not an IM service in and of itself. The services do have different featuresets, regardless of what client you use.
