they dont teach people how to read in Canada.......
Kelly Youngblood: Don't take any shit from them Canucks. To them,
you're just another wetback, crossing the border to play their game.
Dean Youngblood: They'll never catch me!
Kelly Youngblood: Oh, they'll catch you.

A few things to support your arguement:

    colour
    centre
    defence

I'm sure there's more, but that's all that comes to mind right now.

I'm starting to think i'll be committed to a 10 by 10 padded room because i'm talking to myself and some imaginary friend named Shug......i mean who calls themselves shug?? i must be insane

anyways Edmonton took a 3-0 lead in the Western Conference Finals series against the formerly Mighty Ducks of Anaheim

    you guys remember Edmonton right?
the team Motown scoffed at, laughed at and completely dismissed until all of a sudden the Presidents Cup turned into a pumpkin

well this Cinderella team is staying out past curfew and is looking to score

I love the fact that Edmonton is doing well. It just validates that Detroit got beat by one of the best teams in the postseason. I'm still not "happy" about it, but it does make me feel better.

isnt that the way fans and players alike think after their team gets beat out. They get a perceived sense of vindication, closure or slight confidence boost from the fact that they got beat by the "best" team......whatever helps them sleep at night

Gee....what would make you say that?

OK, seriously, I have some great ideas:

1.) We could start bashing the Pistons and Lions. Maybe if we're rowdy enough we can drag people in here to at least argue.

2.) We could hand out Jeff Buekeboom or Stu Grimson bobbleheads to the first 3000 posters in the hockey forum.

3.) We could start a gambling ring with a high profile hockey star....wait...has this been done already?

4.) We could encourage Bertuzzi to break someone else's neck....that was all over the news....right? People couldn't stop talking about that one.

5.) We could encourage The Wings to trade for Barry Bonds or maybe get Claude Lemieux to come out of retirement.

    Do you have any ideas?
