It was a good win considering that we played really poorly in some aspects. Free throw shooting was pretty bad, lots of turnovers, mediocre shooting, etc. The encouraging thing was that we could still seemingly turn it up a notch when we needed to. Hopefully our starters shook the rust off and make it a short series.
You know you have a great team when you can say 11 TOs is a lot. It's crazy when you think about half of those were unforced.
Defense is all that really matter in the playoffs, and ours was playoff-level tonight.
Playing the Bucks is like playing your kid brother in hoops. You keep it close, pretend like it's a competition, but then you pull it out when it matters.
"Nice job. You're really getting better--you almost won! Wanna play again?"
Rinse. Repeat.
