Melo played the whole fucking game and went for 9-26...
That wont win any games for the nuggets...actually it will

Hell of a game last night. I thought Denver was going to pull it out.
The only thing, Denver pissed me off when they took the final full 24 seconds to get the last shot instead of going quick incase you miss. That was just stupid.
But AG, if they miss and the Clips get the board Denver has got to foul
If the Clips hit both that's the game - up 4 and likely less than 20 seconds left.
If the Clips only hit 1 FT Denver has to hit a 3 to tie.
Hitting a 3 in that situation is tough
Personally, if there is only 24 seconds on the game clock I'd take the final shot and go for the tie.

I guess it all depends on the way you think of the game.
Personally, I would have rather have seen him iso, drive to the basket for a quick layup. If you miss, theres always a great chance for an offinsive board with Camby out there.
The Clipps almost blew the game. It was a good game though.
Was it me, or did Chris Kaman make Marcus Camby look bad all game? He seemed to have more power in him.
OK, we'll go with the iso and the quick hit.
He drives, draws a double and dishes to Camby or someone else for the lay-up or dunk.
Clips call TO, with (let's assume) 14 seconds left
Clips inbound and now you've got Cassell with the ball, scores tied and the clock winding down.
Do you foul?
Or do you play strong D, hope Sam I Am misses and you go to OT?
It's a tough choice either way. I wouldn't want Sam having the ball in this situation if I'm Denver.
You've also got to remember the Clips likely have Maggette, Mobley, Brand and Radmanovic on the floor.
They could post Brand and wait for the double (and you know the double has to come or he scores).
So, by taking the quick hit the Clips now have all the options and 14 seconds to go through them.
If you don't double Brand, he'll score. If you double he can kick it out to Radmanovic, Cassell or Mobely for the jumper.
I'd stick with Melo winding the clock down, having all the options and going for the tie.
He misses and you lose, or he hits and you have momentum going into OT.
He missed, but such is life.

34-13 Clippers with 10 minutes left in the 2nd. Melo with 0 points and 3 fouls.
