kinda like how rip hit Artest in the balls and artest got a flagrant for retaliating against rip's head....

I bet Manu flopped on that elbow as well.
He went 6 rows deep into the crowd and came up in a body cast.Originally Posted by The Archdiocese
Im sorry but if you look at the play, Ron absolutely deserved to get suspended.
so what did manu deserve for hitting him?Originally Posted by Kstat

I hate sticking up for Manu as much as anybody, and ROn Artest is one of my favorite players.Originally Posted by Rorschach
However, when you compare the two plays, Manu's was clearly unintentional, and Ron's was clearly intentional.
Manu got what he deserved (an offensive foul), and so did Ron (a suspension).
The way ron tried to get away with it was probably worse than just elbowing him face-to-face. It was a total cheap shot to manu's head when Manu wasn't paying attention.
manu does that shit all the time though. maybe it was unintentional(though i dont think it was), but he is still at fault playing that wreckless flailing flop style as he does. Of course he always falls back on the unintentional "thats just how i play" excuse. so much so that i think it is. but whatever though. im not a fan of either guy.

Manu does play recklessly, and he should be called for fouls a lot more than he does.
I hate the way he plays, but he has to deal with the fact he inflicts punishment on himself as well.
you'd think he does. but not as much as other people. wade does alot of the same unfundamentally sound garbage. but he actually hurts himself more than others. probally because of less elbow usage.Originally Posted by Kstat
