Thread: Rd1: San Antonio (1) vs Sacramento (8), Spurs win 4-2

In fact, Artest thinks the Spurs should be worried about the eighth-seeded Kings.

"I don't even think we're the underdogs any more," Artest said. "I think we're the team to beat, just by how we've been playing."

thats the right mentality honestly. The kings have seriously improved defensively and still capable of scoring points. Bibby is a playoff performer and i wouldnt count them out at all. the spurs better be on guard foreal.

If the Kings had managed to get the 7th seed, I could see them in the next round. People seem to forget that San Antonio, despite the lack of media love, had a hell of a season. They'll win this one in at most 6 games, probably 5.

But the Spurs aren't in top form and I could see them losing a game or 2.

The Kings have really turned things around.

Artest and Bonzi pose all kinds of problems for the Spurs and I don't think Manu can handle either of them.

I'm not a big Manu fan, but I'm second-guessing that right now.
