With vbulletin we have the ability to do just that (show who voted for what), but you can't activate that feature on an old poll, unfortunately.

I suppose one could say that popularity contests should be taken with a grain of salt in any case, I mean, more people voted for Bush too (in the last election at least).

Well Jake (3-4) blew it. Hopefully Mulder (4-1) doesn't follow suit.
We had subs. It was crazy.

Nice work Mulder. He pitched a gem. 8.1 innings and 4 hits for the 1-0 victory over the Mets.

    Mulder:
    5-1
    61 IP
    33 K
    1.21 WHIP
    3.69 ERA

    Peavis:
    3-4
    57.1 IP
    50 K
    1.15 WHIP
    3.77 ERA

I would take Kenny Rogers over either one of them so far this season, but I still take Mulder between these two, and right now the stats aren't exactly making me look stupid.

Both guys got screwed a bit. Their teams, while facing mediocre talent tonight, were facing absolute crap yesterday. I would have loved seeing Mulder dominate the Royals. I guess I'll have to live with watching the Tigers do it now, and he'll just have to dominate the Giants. (my luck, he'll have a Peavy-esque moment with Bonds serving up one of the most historic homers in the history of the game and it will jack him up Brad Lidge style and he'll never be the same)

Bonds hitting #715 off Mulder would make my night.

I hadn't thought about that, Jeth.

    Both guys lose.

Peavy sets a Padres franchise record with 16 Ks.

    The Padres suck balls.

Man, it was looking good for me when I stopped checking in on it last night. The Cardinals were up 1-0 and the Padres were down 2-0.

Peavy defeats Mulder in a rare head to head matchup.

Neither guy was impressive, in fact, both struggled.

But since we only care about wins here, advantage: Peavy.
