Thread: The Official New and Upcoming Games Thread

BioShock is retardedly good. I haven't played a game this hard since Oblivion.

Yeah, I'm not sure it deserves a 10/10 like some of those sites say, as there is (just a little) room for improvement.

Meanwhile, as I get deeper into the game, it's getting better. Awesomesauce.

"Retardedly good" is probably a good way to put it.

    Welcome back, man.

Are you still overseas or are you back in the States?
    Find a new slant.

Thanks man, good to be back.

I'm currently back in the States as a SF augmentee aka gate guard waiting for my orders. I was going to Korea but I've been diverted. Since January I've been over to SW Asia twice.

In other news I've met Ronald Dupree's dad, Ronald Dupree. He's a civilian instructor down here at Keesler in the 332d Training Squadron. That's probably been the highlight of my 2 weeks here so far.

I just finished Bioshock. Badassery at its finest.

On to Madden '08 to get me on some cornbread.

Downloaded the Uncharted Demo. I'm defintely buying that game. The screenshots are misleading. The game has alot of gun play from what I played and the trailer. Great work from the team that was responsible for the Jak and Daxter games. As good as the graphics look. They claim that they only used 30 percent of the PS3's power.

The gameply is pretty smooth and simple. Only complaint is the dodge/roll button being the same as the take cover button. Causes you to lean against the wall when roll to it sometimes. Did bother me except once when i was getting shot at by like 4-5 guys from different angles.

Assassin's Creed is looking pretty good, that's next for me, followed by Mass Effect.

COD 4 deserves it's own thread...I'm way to lazy to start one.

I've heard nothing but good things about it. COD3 surprised me because I was into it and never really was a fan of the series.

If i didnt have 3 first person games already i'd grab it. But i can only play so many shooters. gotta get some 3rd person action in the mix.

didn't want to start a new thread for this..........

Does anyone use DSL for XBox Live? Does it work? Can you tell the difference? How fast is your DSL connection?

I'm thinking of switching to satellite

I need to be sure so that I can kick Jickboy's ass in COD 4
