On a similar vein, what do you consider to be the first "rap" song?

Annals have it as "Rapper's Delight", but this is a question about opinion, not socially accepted fact.

Jimi Hendrix - Castles Made of Sand
    1967

Love - Bummer in the Summer
    1967

These sound like rap to me.
The first actual recorded and accepted song ever done in the
Rap Genre was Rapper's Delight by Sugarhill, but there were
other rappers out during that time.

I still love the song. It's long as fuck, but still dope IMO.
Alot of "purists" or rap snobs hate that track. I think they're crazy.

I think it's awesome because that song stands the test of time,
Def Squad breathed some new life in to it and that was huge as well.
I think Rapper's Delight was a hell of a way to introduce a genre.

What do you think about Rinocerose, French disco hip-hop?

    I don't. I might though.

How close is the album to being done?
    Have a title yet?

    85%? 90% 95%?

    No.

I will let everyone know when it's done and we'll all dance with scissors.

    MOLA--

I've been asked to prom (PM me for more details) but I don't have enough money to support the whole time. I barely have enough to cover a tuxedo. What do I do if I'm able to go?

Really, there's no other option here besides borrowing money.

Make sure that you treat the girl like a princess. Do all the little things.
Open the door for her. Hold her hand when she gets out of the car.
Hold her hand as often as you can. Hook your arm and have her
put hers through whenever you can. Be a complete gentleman.
Make sure you already have hotel reservations and get a room
where others are so that you can enjoy the hotel parties.

Late that night, go back to the room, hit that shit and then come
back out so that you can play cards with your boys.
When you notice one of the other girls crying because they were dissed,
(always happens), hit that shit too. You'll have a blast. It's what I did.
