When I log into the site, I have to do so twice. And, even though I click the automatically log me in button, I still have to manually log in everytime I wanna come onto the site.

I presume you are using the www.wtfdetroit address. Use http://wtfdetroit.com (no www) and that should solve your problem. I had the same issue and it solved mine...
