Thread: "Things I don't get"

  1. #111
    Isn't Toby a Bush supporter?

That would explain a lot of it.

  2. #112
    He's using Bush's circular logic I guess.
Phil Wenneck: The man purse. You actually gonna wear that or are you just fuckin' with me?
Alan Garner: It's where I keep all my things. Get a lot of compliments on this. Plus it's not a purse, it's called a satchel. Indiana Jones wears one.

That's the most pointless thing I've ever heard. I was once as good as I've ever been? Wow, that's pretty profound. I'm not as fat as I once was, but I once was as fat as I've ever been. Look how profound I can be too. What a stupid song.
I actually find it pretty amusing. Its about an old guy (read: Glenn) who while he knows he's past his prime, has that one night where he recaptures the ability he had when he was young. I'm no country music honk or anything but I'm cool with Toby Keith. He's doesn't try to be anything but lighthearted and pleasant.

On topic: I don't get Taymelo in general.
    STEW BEEF!

In all seriousness, I don't get Taymelo either. I never know when he's serious, joking, humble, arrogant, sarcastic, interested, uninterested, whatever. I simply cannot figure this guy out.

I could be wrong but I listen to country a lot (Damn parents playing it 24-7 as a kid) and I always thought he said......

"I'm not as good as I once was, but I'm as good once as I ever was"

It makes more sense that way.

I don't get men who paint their fingernails.

I actually looked this up and I believe the way I wrote it is correct although there are websites that have the lyric's both ways.
