Apocalypse Now (Coppola 1979): this one should actually go on the overrated list, as it falls short of "Heart of Darkness" and Platoon.

Das Boot (Wolfgang Peterson 1981): a movie about a piece of footware. Sweet. Sign me up.

The rest of the movies, by sheer luck I suspect, managed to be excellent selections.

Oh you're kidding. Das Boot has THE best ending in film history, and Apocalypse Now.....ehm... well, I suppose you can skip to the Dennis Hopper parts.

Interesting selections, especially how you grouped the Godfather film in with the rest.

Yes, I would definitely say that Al Pacino, Mike Myers, and Leslie Nielson are on par with each other.

    Favorite Sets:
    Star Wars series
    Matrix Trilogy
    LOTR Trilogy

Almost any Adam Sandler or Chris Farley are good too.
Phil Wenneck: The man purse. You actually gonna wear that or are you just fuckin' with me?
Alan Garner: It's where I keep all my things. Get a lot of compliments on this. Plus it's not a purse, it's called a satchel. Indiana Jones wears one.

About time someone knows what good movies are...forget all those 1930's supposed classics.
