Bernie's name recognition among minorities is still really low.

So Dems to Nevada next and GOP to SC, I think on the same day and then GOP to NV and Dems to SC, again on the same day a week later. I think that's right. Have to go look it up.

Even though Bernie stomped Hillary in NH they received the same number of delegates, 15. Sander received 15 through the voting process and Hillary 9, but NH has 6 superdelegates. They are individuals that the DNC has designated as a superdelegate and they get to vote on their own regardless of the election results. I think most everyone knows what they are, but this is the type of thing that has a lot of the people pissed. All 6 went with Hillary, btw.

Superdelegates can and will change their mind if they see the winds blow against their candidate.
If Bernie's ahead in elected delegates and the superdelegates tip the scales to Hillary, there will be a riot.

Can it get any more Undemocratic than that superdelegate system? That's just weird to me, but I'm not a Dem.


Some speculation that if Hillary were to be indicted(which I know isn't even on the radar for Dems) that the superdelegates would draft someone, anyone other than the Bern. Prolly the Biden/Warren ticket. So they might be keeping their powder dry for now.

Wanted to add that Pubs do it too, but SDs are largely bound by voting results. Not nearly like the dems. Just seems all kinds of wrong to me.
