Other observations:
-The Spurs are really good.
-Did Tony Parker miss a shot in the 2nd half? All of his shots kept going in and that wasn't cool.
-It's not fair that they have Aldridge in addition to all of their other players. Any time their guards couldn't quite get to the basket, they just dropped it off to him at mid-range for an easy two points.
-Boris Diaw was looking exceptionally pudgy today.
-I watched Drummond shooting around during the extended halftime break and I think I saw him make a single basket that whole time.
-...But that alley oop in the 4th quarter was really cool and the crowd loved it.
-Reggie Jackson may be better (most games), but Brandon Jennings is still way cooler and I hope he re-signs with the team next season.
-There weren't quite as many Spurs fans as I expected, even if they were still noticeable. One loud fucker sitting right behind me.
-I still don't like the "multimedia" timeout entertainment at the Palace. They have cheerleaders and dancers and trampoline dunkers all at the same time, and it's too unfocused. At least they seem to have consolidated their dance troupes a bit?
-On the other hand, their timeout videos are top notch. They seem to have hired some people who care about making entertaining and easily shareable videos, and they've done good work.
-They played Kid Rock's "All Summer Long" music video during the long halftime, and it still sucks.
-I liked it better when they dropped Hungry Howie's pizzas from the ceiling than when they hand them out. It felt "fairer" that way.
- !!! THE BOTTLED WATER DOESN'T FALL THROUGH THE BOTTOM OF THE CUP HOLDERS ANY MORE !!!
BTW, if anyone is looking for a drinking fountain at the Palace, seemingly the only one in existence is opposite the entrance to section 104, partly obscured by some carts.
