NBA coach firings 2015-16 (McHale, Hollins, Blatt, Hornacek)

    Kevin McHale fired

    http://espn.go.com/nba/story/_/id/14...h-kevin-mchale

Before they fix it, here's an amusing goof:

McHale, in his fifth season with the team, was in the first year of a three-year extension worth more than $12 million that he signed last December. He was coming off an 82-56 season

Seems odd. Thought he and Morey were boys.

Interesting to go from getting a three year extension less than a year ago, to making the finals in the West, to fired 11 games later.

Terry Stotts? Portland isn't supposed to be any good this year. Has Dame made some kind of statement against the guy or something?

He just seems like he's going to be the scapegoat for scaring away Aldridge. He's also in the last guaranteed year of his deal.

He also seems like the kind of coach you just fire and replace and nobody really notices.

I don't know, I could be full of shit. Post yours.

They are saying Aldridge hated Portland, the city, and was jealous any time anyone got more props than him (Lillard, Roy, Oden).

Yah, that sounds like the typical smear on a guy that left, "it wasn't us, it was him".

So yeah, when I'm wrong you can have a field day, as you do.

    Surprised by your 4,5 & 6.

Clifford's really well-regarded, surprised by that one, too.

Have heard for a while that there are "teams waiting to scoop him up" if things get sideways with MJ.

Seems like that alone might tempt MJ to hold on to him for a good while.

Guys likely out if their teams backslide a little.
